Every step of the way we used the best possible products either produced, made, grown and sold locally. We wanted to show that Tanzania is full of amazing artisans, professionals, trailblazers, that can produce quality products. The wood, all sourced from ecologically sustainable regrowth plantation, the steel frames of which the houses are built are made just up the road. Also all staircases, windows, doors, feature light fittings, were hand made onsite or in Arusha.
